hello world....my name is mae.
6lbs 13oz, 19.5 inches long, ten fingers and ten toes....meet the love of my life guys. |

| no, haven't "had the baby yet". mae's still chilling out in the incubator....
so we're in a holding pattern, mae and i. i'll go ahead and skip the biology lesson concerning dilation and effacement (for those of you who know or are interested 3cm & 90% as of 1:30 wednesday afternoon), but as far as physiology is concerned, all systems are go. contractions have been steadily maintained ten minutes apart from one another...for the past 3 days. dr.cloud fully expected at our last appointment that the world would have acquired another 7lbs. and change of wonder by now. not so...just waiting and trying hard not to be anxious. God is good and His timing is perfect...
so, guys, if you don't mind, please keep us in your prayers. ms. mae seems to be quite comfortable where she is, but it's driving her poor mama crazy (not that i wasn't already well on my way)...
what is your favorite christmas tradition with your family? |
